 | Be my guest Ramirezi , blij je te mogen verwelkomen ... |
 | Ramirezi was here :D
Een hoop leuke onderwerpen Tsjok - ik ga zeker rondneuzen... |
 | 1.- I wish everyone a merry christmas and a happy new year
" There is a language problem "
2.- Dutch speaking people surfing and looking for information on the internet had and have some problems with creationists wich are also prominently present in the Netherlands ( including Flanders/Belgium ) This is nothing new ( indeed Americans are not the only ones who are (luckily ) debunking creationist crap) But american creationist are very active in the Netherlands building local outlets for their ideologies and promotion of the restauration of theocratic views
Evodisku/anti-creato was formerly and initially my private initiative ( yes I finally woke up after 9/11 ) and grew later on into a(Belgian ) Dutch-speaking MSN group of freethinkers / sceptics /friends and focused on debunking the european creationist desinformation ( and all kinds of supernaturalists ) ...
Last year this MSN Group moved to Multiply (MSN groups we're closing down and the collection of info( and work ) gathered over the years , had to be saved ) I don't intend to translate the whole( and the updates ) of the archives of the evodisku group ...In fact the forced transfer ( and correction of that ) archive ( including the replacing of broken links and type/spelling/font errors is not yet finished)
I also tried out some other opportunities on the internet in order to save the groups archives :But ,they were unsatisfactory ( and they disapeared totally afer some month's ) Most annoying was the disappearance of many illustrations ( especially diagrams , chemical and mathematicalformulas ) ...Multiply offered the opportunity to save these graphics more effectively ... and to stay publicly present on the internet ...
Best wishes

| Merry Christmas De Clercq Tsjok. I often visit, but find a language problem when I go to the subject or I'd be here more often. |

tsjok45 wrote on Oct 3, '09, edited on Oct 3, '09 Chris Thanks , for dropping by 1.- Will this important video still be availeable next month ?That's why I copied and ( hopefully)saved it . This video : "Ann Gibbons (2009) ‘Ancient Skeleton May Rewrite Earliest Chapter of Human Evolution’,Science 1 Oct 2009..." .is the BEST one , IHMO , reacheable at this moment 2.- " A pretty exciting find." No doubt Yes, and they took 17 years to check and re-check their researches on the fossils ... so they could present a real good documented result 3.- But it is not debunking our relationship with chimps as several articles ( by creationist and "conclusion jumpin" infotainment journalists )already claim -A good reminder , by the excellent Carl Zimmer http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/loom/2009/10/01/ardipithecus-we-meet-at-last/"Humans do not descent from apes " -& by Larry Moran http://sandwalk.blogspot.com/2009/10/good-science-bad-science-journalism.html"and chimps do not descent from from humans both ARE apes " & by Laelaps http://scienceblogs.com/laelaps/2009/10/will_the_earliest-known_homini.phpArdi can simply be interpreted as a basal ancestor of (maybe )australopithecinae , chimps and other homines (= "humanlike" and "human" are not exactly scientific terms ) See also --> http://johnhawks.net/weblog/reviews/tv/discovering-ardi-release-2009.html http://scienceblogs.com/pharyngula/http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/8285180.stmand of course Science SHOW-TIME There's No business likeshow business http://dsc.discovery.com/tv/ardipithecus/ardipithecus.htmlBest wishes |

I am often participating to PALANTH forum which has a rather high standatd of contribution either by researchers of very involved amateurs. See http://forum.palanth.com/ Best regards Paul paul.trehin@orange.fr |
